Sunday School
The Sunday School motive is to enlighten our children about Christianity and moral life , we have Sunday School classes every Sunday by the dedicated and qualified teachers.
To keep in touch with our Mother tongue, these lessons are taken in our mother tongue language "Malayalam".
Sunday School anniversaries are conducted every year where we encourage kids to participate in various activities such as songs, dance, mimicry, fancy dress etc.
We also conduct VBS classes every year.
St. Mary's Youth Association (SMYANs)
St. Mary's Youth Association is a unit of the Mor Gregorious Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Youth Association, Mumbai.
Youth Association is functioning actively in the Church.
Its main objectives is, the growth of the church through the progress of the Youth.
It was formed right from the beginning of formation of the church. It co-ordinates and leads the youth for charity works and other religious activities. The association helps poor students for education. Their coordination and collective responsibilities were very valuable in various church development programs like, X'mas carol, picnic, annual youth camp, charity work. All the activities of the organization till date are successfully completed by the co-operation, dedication, sincere effort of all the members.
Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam
The Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam is an organization for women of the Parish Church. This organization was conceived to enhance and enlighten the spiritual and social growth of women who seek to promote Christian values within our families and the church community at large. They work along with various charity organizations and offer services to the needy wherever they can.
The roles of a woman are important, as example to other members of the family. The aim of the Samajam is to train them as good students, wives, mothers, employees and homemakers. They are taught to lead a life of goodwill and prayer that will be beneficial to the spiritual growth of the parish and the Church.
Church Choir is an integral part of our Congregation.
The service of our choir is inspirational and a blessing for our Sunday worship services as well as main Feasts of the Parish.
The choir actively participates in all the services of the Church and also in special services like marriage, festivals of Christmas, Passover, Good Friday and Easter etc.
The Holy Sacrament of marriage in Syrian Jacobite Church accompanied by the Church Choir is really a heavenly bliss and divine experience.
It is seen to be believed and witnessed to be enjoyed to spiritual ecstasy.
The choir also helps to unify the congregation and popularize the hymns and responses to be used by the faithful laity in the liturgy.
